Chinipy Account & Crum Help

Questions about the Chinipy integrated account, Crum points, deleting your account and signing in. Account changes are made in the Chinipy Account Center (Korean only).

Chinipy Account

Q. What is the Chinipy integrated account?

A Chinipy account is a single sign-in account for the web services Chinipy runs itself. Sign in once and you can use several Chinipy services with the same account, and your Crum are kept in that account.

Right now, the services that use the Chinipy account are Chinipy Tarot Web (app.chinipy.com/tarot) and Chinipy Lune Web (app.chinipy.com/lune). Chinipy mobile apps downloaded from the app stores use their own sign-in and are not connected to the Chinipy account or Crum.

You manage your account details, Crum history, linked social logins and account deletion in the Chinipy Account Center (accounts.chinipy.com). The account services are currently available in Korean only.

Q. How do I sign up and sign in?

Sign in with Kakao, Naver, Google or Apple. The first time you sign in, you confirm that you are 14 or older and agree to the Terms of Service, and your Chinipy account is created.

Chinipy does not run a parental consent process, so children under 14 cannot sign up.

Q. Can I stop using just one service?

Yes. In the Account Center you can end your use of each service separately. This withdraws your consent to that service's terms, and you can no longer use Crum in that service. Your Crum stay in your account, and you can continue if you agree again.

If you end your use of Chinipy Tarot, the Chinipy Tarot Web reading results and questions you received before that are usually deleted within 1 hour.

Crum

Q. What is Chinipy Crum?

Crum are shared points you receive with your Chinipy account. They are granted free of charge through attendance check-ins, events and service benefits, and you use them for digital content in services Chinipy runs itself (for example, readings on Chinipy Tarot Web). Crum cannot be bought or topped up with money.

Q. Can I buy Crum?

No. Chinipy does not sell Crum and has no top-up feature. Because Crum are free points, they cannot be refunded as cash, and cannot be transferred or sold to other members.

When you use a product that a service sells separately (for example, a reading pass on Chinipy Tarot Web), Crum may be granted as a benefit. These are benefit Crum, not purchased Crum.

Q. How do I earn Crum?

Check in at the Chinipy Account Center once a day (Korea time) to get Crum. Attendance Crum can be used for a set period from the day you get them, so checking in regularly lets you use them for a daily fortune reading on Chinipy Tarot Web.

Reward missions on Chinipy Tarot Web (sharing a result, adding the Chinipy KakaoTalk channel, opening it after adding it to your home screen) each give Crum once.

You can also get Crum from events and service benefits. The amount you get each time and the validity period are explained in the Crum guide of the Account Center and when they are granted.

Q. How long are Crum valid?

Each grant of Crum has its own validity period, and Crum that pass their validity period disappear automatically.

Attendance Crum, Reward Crum from Chinipy Tarot Web reading passes, Chinipy Tarot Web reward mission Crum and Crum returned by a cancellation each have their own validity period depending on how you received them. Crum such as event Crum follow the period announced when they are granted. The period for each kind is listed in the Crum guide of the Account Center.

The Account Center shows the Crum that will expire soon and how long they have left.

Q. In what order are Crum used?

Crum whose validity period ends first are deducted first, so Crum that are about to expire are used first.

Q. Where can I use Crum?

Only in services Chinipy runs itself. Right now, Crum are used for readings on Chinipy Tarot Web and for retelling the same cards with another master. The Crum needed for each item are shown in the Crum guide (accounts.chinipy.com/crum) and on the service screen.

Q. If I cancel something I used Crum for, do I get them back?

Content whose result you have not received yet can be cancelled within 7 days of use, and the deducted Crum come back as Crum with a new validity period from the cancellation.

Content that has started, for example a reading whose result you received, cannot be cancelled. If you did not receive a result because of a problem on Chinipy's side, such as a system error, the content is provided again or the Crum are granted again.

Q. Where can I see my Crum balance and history?

The Chinipy Account Center shows your Crum balance and the history of Crum earned, used and expired. You can also download your profile, Crum balance, service consents and transaction records as a JSON file.

Deleting Your Account

Q. How do I delete my Chinipy account?

Sign in to the Chinipy Account Center (accounts.chinipy.com/account), choose [계정 탈퇴] (Delete account), and type the confirmation text "치니파이탈퇴". Your account is deleted right away.

If you cannot use the Account Center or have not agreed to the terms, you can ask for deletion at contact@chinipy.com.

Q. What happens to my data and Crum when I delete my account?

Your remaining Crum disappear immediately, and your Crum history and the records of items used with Crum are destroyed immediately. Your email address, nickname, profile image and linked social login details are deleted immediately or de-identified so that you cannot be recognized.

Records that the law requires us to keep are stored separately for the required period and then destroyed: contract and withdrawal records and payment records for 5 years, complaint and dispute records for 3 years, and access logs for 3 months. Social account details for the re-registration limit are kept for 30 days and abuse check records for 1 year, and the member number and social account identifier that link these records are kept for 5 years without your email or nickname.

Chinipy Tarot Web reading results and questions are usually deleted within 1 hour after you delete your account. Chinipy Tarot Web payment records, free trial usage records and reward mission records are kept for the periods in the Chinipy Tarot Web Privacy Policy (app.chinipy.com/tarot/privacy/, Korean).

Q. Can I sign up again after deleting my account?

For 30 days after you delete your account or unlink a social account, that social account cannot be used to create a new Chinipy account. After 30 days you can sign up again, but the Crum that disappeared when you deleted your account do not come back.

Sign-in Problems

Q. I cannot sign in. What should I do?

First, check that your browser allows cookies. Chinipy sign-in uses cookies, so you cannot sign in if cookies are blocked.

If you see a message that sign-in was cancelled or timed out, start signing in again from the beginning. If a message says a social login is not available right now, use another sign-in method.

If it still does not work, send the sign-in method you used (Kakao, Naver, Google or Apple), the message on the screen and the time you tried to contact@chinipy.com.

Q. I see a message that new sign-ups are restricted for 30 days.

It means that social account was recently used to delete an account or was unlinked. To prevent abuse such as receiving Crum repeatedly, that social account cannot create a new account for 30 days, and the message shows the days left. Linking it to an existing Chinipy account as a sign-in method is not restricted.

Q. It says my account is suspended, or that it was deleted or terminated.

The account has been restricted, for example for breaking the Terms of Service, or has already been deleted. To ask about the reason or to object, contact contact@chinipy.com. You can object within 7 days of receiving the restriction notice.

Q. How long do I stay signed in? I keep getting signed out.

You stay signed in for up to 30 days. You need to sign in again if you clear your browser's cookies or site data, use a private (incognito) window, or after 30 days.

Q. Can I sign in to an account I have not used for a long time?

Yes. An account with no sign-in for 1 year or more becomes dormant and some features, such as using Crum, are restricted, but it returns to normal as soon as you sign in again.

Q. After signing in, I see a screen asking me to agree to the terms.

When the Terms of Service change, you may be asked to agree to the new terms when you sign in. Until you agree, earning and using Crum are restricted, and you can still delete your account without agreeing.
