The purpose of these Terms of Service is to define the conditions and procedures for using the mobile application 'Cool Down' provided by Chinipy (the "Operator"), and to define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Operator and the users.
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms establish the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Operator and users.
Article 2 (Service Description)
- Impulse Buy Suppression: Helps prevent impulse buying by locking product links shared by users for 72 hours.
- Purchase Decision: Allows users to decide whether to buy or pass through a swipe interface after the timer expires.
- Data Statistics: Provides functions to visualize saving records (heatmap) and analyze purchase satisfaction (regret index).
- Information Provision: Provides additional information necessary for consumption, such as real-time currency exchange rates.
Article 3 (Data Storage and Responsibility)
- Local Storage Principle: All user data generated within this Service is stored only within the user's device. The Operator does not collect or back up user data on servers.
- Data Loss: If a user deletes the app, changes devices, loses the device, or resets the device, all data stored on the device will be deleted. The Operator is not responsible for recovering this data.
Article 4 (User Obligations)
Users must comply with these Terms and related laws, must not use the Service for purposes other than its intended use, and must not infringe upon the rights of third parties.
Article 5 (Disclaimer)
- The Operator is not responsible for the inability to provide the Service due to force majeure, such as natural disasters, device errors, or network failures.
- Information provided by the Service (exchange rates, product info, etc.) is for reference only. The Operator is not responsible for price differences or transaction accidents occurring during actual purchases.
- Any consequences arising from the user's purchase decisions (Buy/Pass) are entirely the responsibility of the user.
Article 6 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes arising in connection with the use of the Service shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Operator.
