Chinipy (hereinafter referred to as the "Operator") establishes and discloses this Privacy Policy to protect the personal information of data subjects and to handle related complaints promptly and smoothly.
1. Purpose of Processing Personal Information
The Operator processes personal information for the following purposes. The personal information being processed will not be used for purposes other than those described below.
- Providing App Services: Processing data to perform the essential functions of the service, such as the impulse buying suppression timer, product information management, savings statistics visualization (heatmap), and purchase regret analysis.
- Service Improvement and Error Analysis: Collecting usage data to improve the quality of app services, diagnose errors, and solve technical problems.
- Advertising and Marketing: Using device identifiers to provide personalized advertisements through Google AdMob.
2. Items and Methods of Collecting Personal Information
A. Local Storage (Device Data)
The following information entered or generated by the user while using the app is stored only within the user's device and is not transmitted to or collected by the Operator's server.
- Product information (name, price, image, URL)
- Consumption decision history (Buy/Pass) and decision time
- Regret Analysis levels
- App settings (currency settings, notification settings, etc.)
B. Automatically Collected Items (Third-Party SDKs)
The following information may be automatically generated and collected during the service use process.
- Firebase Analytics/Crashlytics: App usage records, device information (model name, OS version), error logs.
- Google AdMob: Advertising ID (ADID/IDFA), ad engagement information.
3. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
The Operator does not provide users' personal information to third parties. However, to provide the service, the following external SDKs are utilized.
- Google Firebase: App analytics and error reporting.
- Google AdMob: Personalized advertisements.
4. Retention and Use Period of Personal Information
- Local Data: Stored on the user's device until the app is deleted.
- Auto Cleanup: Items deleted by the user (soft-deleted) are automatically and permanently deleted upon app execution after 3 months (90 days) from the date of deletion.
- Statistical Data: Data for statistical purposes, such as the heatmap, is maintained until the user deletes the app or manually resets the data.
5. Procedure and Method of Destruction
Users can immediately destroy all local data stored on their device by deleting the app. Since the Operator does not store user data on separate servers, recovery by the Operator is impossible once the app is deleted.
