Article 1 (Purpose and Service Overview)

1.1 Service Name

  • English: Chinipy Tarot

1.2 Service Purpose

This service provides tarot card interpretations and dream interpretations on topics of interest to users as an entertainment and recreational service.

1.3 Important Notice

  • This service is provided for pure entertainment purposes and is not based on scientific evidence or medical diagnosis
  • Tarot card results do not predict or guarantee the actual future
  • For important life decisions (health, financial, legal matters, etc.), please consult with relevant field experts
  • The company accepts no responsibility for any decisions based on the results of this service

Article 2 (Service Eligibility and Registration)

2.1 Eligibility

  • Individuals aged 12 and above
  • iOS and Android smartphone users
  • Available worldwide (Main service regions: Korea, Japan, USA, UK, France, Spain, Germany)

2.2 Minor Protection

  • Parental supervision required for minors' service use
  • All responsibility for minors' in-app purchases lies with the guardian
  • Guardians are responsible for appropriately monitoring their children's service use
  • Preventing minors from blindly believing tarot results is the guardian's responsibility

2.3 Membership Registration

  • Social login via Google OAuth, Apple OAuth
  • Kakao and Naver OAuth to be added in the future
  • Agreement to these Terms of Service and Privacy Policy required upon registration

2.4 Global Service Provision

  • Personal information may be transferred abroad for smooth global service provision
  • Main transfer countries: USA, Singapore, European Union
  • Processing in compliance with personal data protection laws of each country (GDPR, DPF, etc.)

Article 3 (Service Content and Usage)

3.1 Basic Services

  • Free Tarot Reading: Basic interpretation provided when using Moonlight Shard (brief summary format)
  • Premium Tarot Reading: Detailed interpretation provided when using Focus Elixir
  • AI-based Character Tarot Reading: Customized interpretations through various characters
  • Dream Interpretation Service: AI-based dream interpretation and consultation

3.2 AI-based Services

  • This service provides tarot interpretations using advanced artificial intelligence technology
  • Continuously improved for AI response consistency and quality enhancement
  • Due to the nature of AI technology, perfect results cannot be guaranteed
  • Customized interpretations based on individual interests
  • Personalized service provision through analysis of access frequency and usage patterns

3.3 Data Collection and Usage

This service collects the following information for service quality improvement:

  • OAuth Login Information: Email, name, unique identifier from Google/Apple accounts
  • Service Usage Records: Tarot question history, interpretation result viewing records
  • Dream Content and Dream Interpretation Records: User-entered dream content, AI interpretation results (automatically deleted after 7 days)
  • Device Information: Mobile device identifier, OS version, app version
  • Optional Information: Date of birth (for accurate interpretation), interests (for customized service)

3.4 Sensitive Information Processing

  • Dream content is specially protected as sensitive information that may relate to individual psychological states
  • Used only for dream interpretation service provision and not utilized for other purposes
  • Dream content and interpretation results are automatically and completely deleted 7 days after creation
  • Users can request deletion of dream content at any time

Article 4 (Game Items and Payment)

4.1 Game Items

Moonlight Shard

  • Basic item required for free tarot reading use
  • 1 piece allows 1 free tarot reading
  • Acquisition Methods:
    • 1 piece provided as daily login reward
    • Obtainable by watching ads on event page
    • Obtainable by participating in in-app events
    • Obtainable through other events and rewards
  • Exchangeable for Focus Elixir (currently 10 pieces = 1 Focus Elixir, exchange rate subject to change)

Focus Elixir

  • Premium tarot reading ticket
  • 1 piece allows 1 premium tarot reading

Oracle Tome

  • Paid in-app purchase item
  • Exchangeable for Focus Elixir (currently 1 piece = 3 Focus Elixir, exchange rate subject to change)

4.2 In-app Purchases

  • Using Google Play Store, App Store payment systems
  • Store payment policies apply when purchasing Oracle Tome
  • Payment cancellation and refunds follow each store's policies

4.3 Refund Policy

Refund Principles

  • Purchased Oracle Tome is immediately credited to your account and is generally non-refundable
  • Change of mind, service dissatisfaction, or dissatisfaction with tarot results are not grounds for refund

Exceptional Refund Review Grounds

  • Duplicate payment due to system error
  • Unauthorized payment by minor (legal guardian verification required)
  • Clear product selection error
  • Oracle Tome not credited due to system failure

Non-Refundable Conditions

  • Oracle Tome already exchanged for Focus Elixir
  • More than 7 days have passed since purchase date

Refund Application Method

  • Apply according to each store's (Google Play Store, App Store) policies
  • Direct developer inquiry: [email protected]
  • Purchase receipt, refund reason, and usage history must be specified when applying for refund

Notes

  • Refund requests are approved after individual review
  • Service use may be restricted for false applications

Article 5 (Advertising Service)

5.1 Advertising Policy

  • Ad viewing for obtaining Moonlight Shards on event page
  • Free tarot reading proceeds using Moonlight Shards (no ad viewing required)
  • Event reward acquisition may be restricted if ads are blocked
  • Responsibility for ad content lies with the respective advertiser

5.2 Personalized Advertising

  • Personalized ads provided through Google AdMob
  • Uses advertising identifiers (iOS: IDFA, Android: Google Advertising ID)
  • Ad effectiveness measurement based on device information and app usage patterns
  • Personalized ad exposure matching user interests

5.3 Right to Refuse Ad Tracking

Users can refuse personalized ad tracking at any time:

  • iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Disable Allow Apps to Request to Track
  • Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Disable Ad Personalization

Important: Even if ad tracking is refused, the obligation to watch ads for free service use remains. Only general ads will be shown instead of personalized ads.

Article 6 (User Obligations)

6.1 Prohibited Acts

  • Service abuse and fraudulent use
  • Unauthorized use of others' personal information
  • Entering false information or attempting technical manipulation
  • Acts that harm service stability
  • Absolutely believing tarot results
  • Using the service for purposes other than entertainment
  • Unauthorized commercial use or redistribution of tarot interpretation results
  • Unauthorized copying, distribution, or secondary processing of in-app content

6.2 User Responsibilities

  • Service Purpose Compliance: Use only for pure entertainment and recreational purposes
  • Result Interpretation Caution: Recognize that tarot results are not scientific evidence or medical diagnosis
  • Expert Consultation Recommended: Mandatory consultation with relevant field experts for important life decisions
  • Minor Management: Use under parental supervision for minors
  • Personal Information Management: Obligation to safely manage one's account information

Article 7 (Personal Information Protection and Data Management)

7.1 Personal Information Processing

  • Personal information processing follows separate Privacy Policy
  • Collect and use only minimal information
  • Not provided to third parties without user consent

7.2 Data Security

  • Supabase-based security system applied
  • Only authenticated users can access API calls
  • Personal information stored with encryption
  • Technical measures established against hacking, etc.
  • Access control system installed and access records kept for at least 1 year

7.3 Personal Information Retention and Deletion Policy

Legally Required Retention Data

  • Payment Information: Retained for 5 years from payment date (Electronic Commerce Act compliance)
  • Member Basic Information: Retained for 1 year from withdrawal date (fraud prevention purpose)

Service Operation Data Retention Period

  • Tarot Question History: Automatically deleted after 7 days
  • Dream Content and Dream Interpretation Records: Automatically deleted after 7 days (sensitive information protection)
  • Ad Viewing Records: Automatically deleted after 7 days
  • Held Assets Status: Retained for 2 years from last activity date

Article 8 (Intellectual Property Rights)

8.1 Company's Intellectual Property Rights

  • Copyrights of all content used in this service belong to the company
  • Rights to all software, algorithms, and databases within the service belong to the company

8.2 User Usage Restrictions

  • Users may use service content only for personal, non-commercial purposes
  • Prohibited Acts:
    • Unauthorized copying, distribution, commercial use of tarot card images
    • Resale or commercial utilization of tarot interpretation results
    • Creation and distribution of derivative works from in-app content
    • Unauthorized use of company logo

Article 9 (Service Suspension and Changes)

9.1 Service Changes

  • Company may change content for service improvement
  • Important changes will be announced in advance
  • Item exchange rates, etc. may change according to operational circumstances

9.2 Service Suspension

  • May be temporarily suspended due to system maintenance, technical issues, etc.
  • 30-day advance notice when service termination is unavoidable

Article 10 (Member Withdrawal and Account Deletion)

10.1 Withdrawal Method

  • Using member withdrawal function within the app
  • Withdrawal request through direct developer inquiry

10.2 Processing Upon Withdrawal

  • Immediate deletion of personal information (except legally required retention)
  • Payment information retained for 5 years according to Electronic Commerce Act
  • Complete extinction of all held assets
  • Re-registration with same account restricted within 31 days after withdrawal
  • Previous data cannot be restored upon re-registration

Article 11 (Limitation of Liability)

11.1 Company Liability Limitation

  • Does not guarantee accuracy of tarot results
  • No responsibility for user decisions based on tarot results
  • Liability limited when service is suspended due to force majeure
  • Perfect service cannot be guaranteed due to AI technology characteristics

  • This service is provided for pure entertainment and recreational purposes and cannot replace any medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice
  • Tarot card interpretation results have no scientific basis and do not predict or guarantee the actual future
  • The company accepts no responsibility for all decisions made by users based on tarot results and their consequences

Article 12 (Dispute Resolution)

12.1 Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  • Korean law applies
  • Seoul Central District Court as exclusive jurisdiction court

12.2 Dispute Mediation

  • Priority on resolution through mutual consultation when disputes arise
  • Related dispute mediation agencies may be used when necessary

Article 13 (Miscellaneous)

13.1 Terms of Service Changes

  • Company may change terms of service according to related laws and service operational needs
  • In-app notice or email notification when changed
  • Service use may be discontinued and withdrawal possible if disagreeing with changed terms
